Strawberry Argan Oil Anti-Acne Facial Cleanser – Eco Beauty

I’m not sure if you have heard or read the book Eco Beauty by Lauren and Janice Cox, but it a great reference book if you are interested in getting started in DIY beauty recipes or if you already use a lot of ingredients from your home for your skincare and are just looking for a couple more ideas. The book is inexpensive, $13.59 on Amazon, and you can even take a look at a couple excerpts before you buy.

While Lauren and Janice don’t mention argan oil in their book, they do mention a lot of other oils like almond oil, walnut, and olive oil. There are several recipes in the book that use oils and the moisturizing component and can easily be substituted with Amal Oils 100% Organic Argan Oil. Compared to other oils like olive oil, argan oil is a far richer oil – containing more antioxidants, amino acids and vitamin E. Organic argan oil is best in it’s purest form as a moisturizer, but can also be combined with other ingredients to make amazing argan oil skin products and argan oil hair products.

Check out this strawberry and argan oil anti-acne cleanser recipe from Eco Beauty that has been altered to incorporate Amal Oils 100% Organic Argan Oil:
-6 Whole Strawberries <-- Alpha Hydroxy Acids
-3 Tablespoons Witch Hazel <-- Natural annti-inflammatory
-2 Tablespoons Amal Oils 100% Organic Argan Oil <-- Ultra moisturizing, anti-aging, softening

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the cleaner into a clean jar with a tight fitting lid and store int he refrigerator, where it will keep for about 2 to 3 weeks. To use, place a small amount in the palm of your hand, then gently massage into your skin. Rinse well with warm water, then pat your skin dry.
